Pageant Season Update From State Director, Randy Sanders
It has been a long time since I have been this excited to kick off a Pageant Season! We seem to be finally turning the corner on the COVID-19 pandemic, although we all still need to remain cautious and follow the necessary guidelines.
For the first time ever, we will be holding the Miss West Virginia USA & Miss West Virginia Teen USA pageants in Buckhannon! Scheduled for the weekend of July 9, 10 & 11, 2021, the competitions will be held at the Virginia Thomas Law Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Our host hotel for the pageant will be the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buckhannon. For now, contestants should not book any rooms on your own; more details will follow soon.
Another new tradition! For the first time ever, we will be awarding titles to all our contestants. As a representative of your hometown, county, or region, you will empower other young women with your spirit to compete! We could not be more excited that you will become a part of a sorority of young women who will leave a legacy as a titleholder in the 2021 Miss West Virginia USA & Miss West Virginia Teen USA pageant system.
